Welcome

The state of our nervous system shapes the thoughts we think, the way we experience the world, and the choices we make. When we are dysregulated, we can become caught in unhelpful narratives, confusion, emotional reactivity, and behaviors that no longer align with our values or the life we want to create.

This work invites a different paradigm - one rooted in understanding your unique nervous system, patterns, and needs. Through deeper awareness, relationships become more connected, resilient, and grounded.

As we reconnect with emotions and sensations we may have shut down, ignored, or become overwhelmed by over time, we create space for a different way of living — one that allows for greater presence, clarity, connection, and aliveness.

About

I’ve witnessed how this work deepens connection to ourselves, to others, and to the rhythms that surround us while also bringing us back to the simplicity, humor, and lightness of life. My role is to walk alongside individuals, children, and families as they navigate challenges, move through inevitable blocks, and reconnect with what matters most to them.

I believe you are the expert on yourself and your loved ones. My role is to offer developmental, relational, and nervous-system-informed insight that can support the process- an unveiling through shared space, curiosity, safety, and relationship.

Often, it is through safe and attuned relationship that we gain the security needed to look inward. From there, we have the capacity to transform our relationship with ourselves, deepen connection to God or spirituality as we understand it, and shift the way we relate to the world around us.

My training includes DIRFloortime® (Fellows Level), Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening, Safe and Sound Protocol and Polyvagal Theory, Attachment-Centered Play Therapy, ADHD Treatment Certification, Trauma-Informed Sensorimotor approaches, Primitive Reflex Integration, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, CPTSD healing work, and trauma studies with Bessel van der Kolk, along with extensive ongoing mentorship and continued education.

I also believe practitioners do their best work when they remain engaged in their own growth, healing, and accountability through personal therapy, mentorship, and supportive community — something I value deeply in my own life and practice.

Outside of the studio, I love being outside simply to breathe, all kinds of music while driving through Northern Michigan, my two tiny rescue chihuahua mixes, understated everything, walking in the rain, spontaneous dancing, road trips, farmers markets, skiing and biking Northern Michigan, and the first sip of hot local coffee. I’m drawn to people who are both deeply grounded and deeply alive.

I often return to Tara Brach’s words:
“Go half as fast to experience twice as much.”

I work with evolving children and adults in our Petoskey, Michigan studio and with clients around the world online. I also lead programs and courses, mentor educators and professionals internationally, and create accessible nervous-system-informed content, most often shared on Instagram at @thrivinglittles.
